About Us
Disposal Zurich exists to solve one specific problem: getting unwanted furniture, appliances, and household items out of a home or workplace without the hassle of moving them yourself. We collect items directly from wherever they are a flat, an office, a basement, a shop and transport them to an appropriate recycling or disposal point. No van to hire, no working out where things are supposed to go, and no guessing at the price until the job is already half done.
What we do
We're a pickup-and-transport service, not a recycling centre. Every job follows the same principle: we come to you, remove the items you no longer want, and take them to a suitable disposal or recycling point on your behalf. That covers everything from a single old sofa to a full apartment or office clearance — see our full range of services for the specific job you have in mind.
• We collect and transport: we do not own, run, or operate any recycling centre or disposal facility ourselves
• We work independently: we are not partnered with, affiliated with, or acting on behalf of any specific recycling company, authority or organisation
• We serve Zurich directly: our team works across homes, offices, shops and apartments throughout the city and surrounding area
How we work
Every job follows the same four steps, whether it's one item or an entire property:
1. Tell us what needs to go — a quick description or a few photos is usually enough.
2. We give you a fixed price before anything is booked.
3. Our team collects the items directly from your space, on a date that suits you.
4. Everything is transported to an appropriate recycling or disposal point.
Why work with us
Who we help
We work with households clearing out a single room or a whole flat, landlords preparing a property between tenants, and businesses closing, moving or refitting a workspace. If you're not sure which service fits your situation, our Bulky Waste Disposal page is a good general starting point, or Apartment Clearance if you're emptying an entire property.
Our approach to disposal
Where an item ends up depends on what it actually is. Furniture, appliances, electronics and general household items are kept separate through collection and handed over to an appropriate recycling or disposal point suited to each category, rather than treated as one undifferentiated load. We don't operate a facility ourselves, so we can't make promises about exactly what happens after handover — but sorting items properly at the point of collection is the most useful thing we can do to give them a better chance of being reused or recycled rather than simply discarded.
