Kitchen Items Disposal in Zurich
A kitchen renovation usually starts with clearing out what's already there, and that's rarely a quick job on your own. We remove old cabinets, worktops, sinks and built-in appliances directly from the room, whether the whole kitchen is coming out or just a section is being updated.
Collection can be timed to fit around your renovation schedule, so the space is empty and ready exactly when your fitters need it. As with every job, the price is agreed as a fixed amount before we start, with nothing added once the work is done.

What's included
Kitchen items disposal covers the fitted parts of the room as well as anything loose sitting inside it. For a mixed clearance that also includes items from other rooms, our Bulky Waste Disposal service can bring everything together into one booking.
• Cabinets and units: wall cabinets, base units, drawers and pantry cupboards
• Worktops and fittings: countertops, sinks, taps and splashback panels
• Built-in appliances: ovens, hobs, extractor hoods and integrated fridges
• Loose items: kitchen tables, chairs and any freestanding storage
Why a kitchen renovation needs its own clearance
Kitchens combine fitted units, plumbing and built-in electrics in a way most other rooms don't, so pulling everything out cleanly takes a bit more planning. Here's what that means in practice:
Fitted, not freestanding
Cabinets and worktops are fixed in place and need to be unscrewed or cut down before they can be removed. This makes kitchen clearance different from simply carrying away loose furniture and requires careful handling during removal.
Scheduled around your fitters
Collection is timed so the room is cleared exactly when your new kitchen is due to go in, not days too early or late. This helps keep the renovation on schedule and leaves the space ready for the installation team.
Often bundled with other furniture
If there's a dining table and chairs in the same room, they can be collected in the same visit rather than booked separately through Furniture Disposal. This can make the whole clearance more convenient when several items need to leave at once.
How it works
1. Tell us what's coming out and your renovation timeline — we give you a fixed price.
2. Book a collection date that fits your fitters' schedule.
3. Our team removes the cabinets, worktops and appliances from the room.
4. Everything is transported to the appropriate recycling or disposal point.

Timing around your renovation
Kitchen clearances are usually one step in a longer renovation, so timing tends to matter more here than for a simple furniture pickup. Booking a date that lines up with your fitters, delivery of the new kitchen, or a broader move-out avoids a gap where the room sits empty for longer than it needs to, or a rush where cabinets are still coming out as new units are due to arrive. If this is a workplace kitchen being cleared as part of a wider office clean-out rather than a home renovation, it's often more efficient to cover it under Office Clearance alongside the rest of the space.
Disassembly and worktop removal
Cabinets are unscrewed from walls and each other rather than pulled apart by force, and worktops are cut down where needed to get them out of the room without damaging doorways or flooring. Sinks and taps are disconnected before removal, and any built-in appliance is unplugged and freed from its housing first. Larger units can be separated into manageable sections to make removal through narrow spaces safer and easier.
If the kitchen is only part of a larger clearance — say, the whole apartment is being emptied rather than just refitted — it's usually simpler to book that under Apartment Clearance so the kitchen and every other room are covered in one visit. This keeps the clearance organised and avoids arranging separate collections for different rooms or types of furniture.
